In a time when magic was still largely unknown to the world, where dragons hid deep in their underground burrows -or chose to fly higher than the eye could see, never landing, where fairies fled the iron cities and vampires shied away from the silver inlaid in modern currency, that is the world where the city of Lisrael lies. It is in this city a petty trickster is abusing his powers, severely annoying the local hedge witches and wizards -and, to a more detrimental end, a high-arcana wielding dark magician. This was particularly detrimental due to the fact that Detective Caid was on a winning streak and, if he didn’t catch this bumbling sorcerer, his partner was about to rob him of $500. That wouldn’t be a problem -if Caid didn’t have to hide the supernatural methods he used to keep his stellar record.
